ldap-auth-config software package provides Config package for LDAP authentication, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ldap-auth-config
ldap-auth-config is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ldap-auth-config package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ldap-auth-config *
You will get with ldap-auth-config package name, version, architecture and description in a table
